As a company founded by two brothers, and one that’s part of a global community of drinks lovers, we tend to use the word family a lot. In this time of crisis we have never felt or meant it more, and are committed to acting in the best possible way for all of our family – not only our staff and customers but also the bars, restaurants and hotels we supply whose livelihoods will be affected over the next few months.

We know that, on top of the pressures to take care of yourselves and your families, many of you are facing the hardest of times on a professional level. We assure you that we are standing shoulder to shoulder with you in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. Please know that you are not alone, and that we will do everything we can to support you in the coming weeks and months.

Operations during COVID-19, headlines:

We have introduced a variety of measures across our business, in line with WHO guidance, to protect public health and you, our customers

The measures include the cancellation of all external meetings and travel, for all employees,  the cancellation of forthcoming events, training and tastings

At present we are continuing to provide a full service via our courier partners to any UK customers who are still operating

We are fulfilling any orders as normal and have continuity of stock across the vast majority of products

We are working with clients who are adversely affected by the situation on a case-by-case basis

Initiatives

To help support the drinks and hospitality industry at this challenging time, we've launched the following initiatives:

• Speciality Drinks has joined forces with Edrington-Beam Suntory UK to produce Wellbeing packs containing food and essential items to help those affected by the Covid-19 pandemic stay stocked up with what they need.
• The Speciality Drinks team are supporting some of the nation's top cocktail bars to “Bring the Bar Home”. The participating bars have chosen a signature drink that customers can buy as a collection via The Whisky Exchange to make at home. Any proceeds are split with the bars enabling everyone to support these bars and continue to enjoy their great drinks whilst the doors are temporarily closed.
