Getting back to Business – Safety and Wellbeing is our priority
As a company founded by two brothers, and one that’s part of a global community of drinks lovers, we tend to use the word family a lot. In this time of crisis we have never felt or meant it more, and are committed to acting in the best possible way for all of our family – not only our staff and customers but also the bars, restaurants and hotels we supply whose livelihoods have been affected over the last few months. As many of you plan to reopen, we want to work with you to support you and your teams to do so safely and successfully.
Is Speciality Drinks delivering?
Yes! We are offering a delivery service using our own fleet of vehicles within London and nationally via our chosen couriers Parcelforce and Fedex.
Working in line with UK government guidance, we have introduced stringent measures to ensure the wellbeing of our customers and our staff. Our warehouse team in London are working under careful new protocols, including regular staff temperature checks, wearing PPE whilst abiding social distancing measures, and continuous cleaning of touch-points throughout our premises and vehicles.
Our own delivery drivers will be fully equipped with PPE, face coverings or face visors and gloves. They will sanitise their hands pre and post all deliveries. We trust you too will have similar measures in place to protect our drivers.
At the delivery point our drivers will:
• socially distance from your staff receiving deliveries;
• have two copies of delivery notes, your copy will be enclosed within the delivery;
• require you to sign our copy using your pen; and,
• be keeping signed delivery notes separately from those not yet signed to ensure these is no cross-contamination.
Operations during COVID-19
We have introduced a variety of measures across our business, in line with government guidance, to protect public health and you, our customers.
The measures include the cancellation of all external meetings and travel for all employees, as well as the cancellation of forthcoming events, training and tastings.
At present we are continuing to provide a full service via our courier partners to any UK customers who are still operating.
We are fulfilling any orders as normal and have continuity of stock across the vast majority of products.
We are working with clients who are adversely affected by the situation on a case-by-case basis.
