Location: Park Royal, London. We operate a hybrid working approach of 60% office to 40% remote, allowing you to manage your time.
Founded in 1999 by Sukhinder and Rajbir Singh, Speciality Drinks Group is a fast-growing and world-renowned international spirits company. It was one of the first multi-channel, multi-market global drinks distributors and is a leader in its field. Now made up of four group companies, it is an independently managed business and a recent addition to the Pernod Ricard Group since November 2021.

Your role
Speciality Drinks are the premier supplier of whiskies, spirits and wines and as The Whisky Exchange organise the UK’s leading drinks events, shows and in-store tastings.
• Whisky Show – UK’s largest Whisky festival
• Whisky Show: Old & Rare – Festival celebrating the world of fine & rare whiskies
• Cognac Show – The UK’s first-ever Cognac tasting show
• Champagne Show – A Champagne experience unlike any other in the UK
• Rum Show – Our newest show is a celebration of the world’s best sugar-cane spirits and the people who make them.
• Three-times monthly in-store/virtual tastings
Reporting to the Head of Events, this role is crucial in assisting the delivery of the event marketing strategy.

Your unique contribution
• Work with the Head of Events and ensure the overall marketing strategy is in place and actioned with internal and external stakeholders.
• Own the shows digital marketing platforms; social and newsletters.
• Manage paid for content and develop targeted monthly campaigns and annual strategies for show social channels.
• Create content for web, social and newsletter databases for the shows and instore/virtual tastings highlighting – new exhibitors, activations, products, masterclasses, guests of show, show news and TWE tastings.
• Assist the Head of Events in monitoring ticket sales for the event and identify strategies to increase sales.
• Work with the Head of Events and project manage one TWE Show. Duties will include - exhibition sales, exhibitor support, event production and operations, venue liaison, maintain show website, stock control.
• To support the events department, ensuring the smooth running of shows and tastings
• Adhoc duties where required
Your blend of talent
This position could be right for you if you:
- Understand social media, audience development and have experience working across platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest) and associated third party applications.
- Have experience in creating social media strategies
- Understand consumer marketing
- Have a high level of numeracy
- Work with Microsoft Office to a high standard, including, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
- Enjoy interacting with people
- Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
- Work well as part of a team
- Demonstrate a pro-active ‘can do’ attitude
Your Experience
- You will have a great spirits knowledge, preferably with WSET qualifications but this can be taught.
- You will have Marketing/PR experience
